The things I would write here using 1999.io are in direct competition with the things I write on my journal pages at rudimentarylathe.org.

I sort of like the idea of using this instead and keeping the wiki full of quotes and things I've learned rather than daily journal entries.

Still thinking about this.

Should I keep a running commentary for each day (like I'm doing right now) or just do tiny individual posts? Tiny individual posts would generate entries in the feed, which might be nice but also might be too much (aka annoying). On the other hand, the RSS entry for ongoing daily posts will be seen once, and likely before there's anything written.

Here's the thing. I kind of want to have ONE BLOG. Each of the places I publish today have specific strengths and I get certain enjoyment out of them. What I think I should do instead is to consolidate into a single platform. The problem with that is that there is no better choice for an easy, do-everything blog than WordPress. Sigh.
